Quick car fact.

During testing it was discovered that the roof on the conversable E type Jaguar would flap a bit, to fix this, Jaguar simply sewed a line of lead shot into the roof.

Also the E type required a new type of brake system, the designer was given a month to come up with something. He was bet £5 by Jaguar owner Sir William Lions that he couldn't do it, he did! And Jaguar ended up using the same system for the next 25 years.
