Though high-school had its rough moments, I did feel it got better towards the end, and then, College seemed much, much better. You get a lot more leeway in choosing electives and things that interest you, and also, the times you schedule your classes at; myself, not being a morning person never took a class that stared before 10:20 AM, and generally ones at 11:00 and later. (I was never good at getting up at 6:30 AM and then have this long bus-ride in high school...I'd be very, very sleepy at least until lunch, and it could be hard to focus.) The workload in college was somewhat hard, but not impossible. I majored in English (writing/lit), and Psychology, and so, I had more papers to write than exams, but I like writing papers better so it was never a huge problem. And then, there was a lot of fun to be had with friends...and getting into a bit of trouble here and again, seeing punk bands play at odd little basement shows, skateboarding late at night in parking ramps, nights spent just sitting up late, talking and playing music. I never went to a lot of huge parties, but my time at Michigan State was certainly about the most fun I've had in life...but at various points in life, I've always questioned if things will be 'better' and such, and always had struggles, especially as of late: but have found that if I have even a few things to focus on that I love, and can lose myself in, that I'l be OK.
