I'm unsure of what to rate the comic in terms of age...either 15/16 or 18. There'll be swearing (cussing, to the US brethren) as well as violence.
Anyone know any examples of 18-rated comics so I can get some reference on the official way it's done? Don't want it to be inappopriately rated :3

There are two ways to flat an image. One is to fill the spaces then "expand the fill slightly to fill in under the line art so there is no gap, and the other is to draw the spaces manually under the line art and then fill the created space. It all depends upon how the drawing was done. I use combinations of both, layering the background colors to foreground colors as I go. It can be time consuming for very complicated drawings, but it makes the final product so much better, especially if you need to add shading, glow, etc.

Well, I can think of The Walking Dead. Japanese comics are stranger...those meant for young boys can have very mature themes.

I could reveal some of the themes, but...that would be spoiling it a bit! I think it's not quite on the same level of The Walking Dead.
Looking at video game and movie ratings...seems to be indicating it's an 18, though. I shall keep it at that for now!

Swearing and blood usually rises it up to like 15/16 but things like murder and violence will rise it to 18+, especially if it's on screen.

Really, if there's death, intense gore and any lewds then yes it'll be 18+.
