Going to actually go from central MN to Sault Ste Marie (About 600 miles [965km] one way)

Taking a lakeside (Lake Superior) route to there. Going to spend about 9-10 days exploring :) In total I expect to drive a total of about 2500 miles (4025km) through the trip :D

That sounds fun! Planning on spending some time up there this summer as well...it's about 2 hours to the Mackinaw Bridge from here, and I'd really like to see Lake Superior again. It's amazing how quiet/desolate the UP is in the winter...almost eerie.

Maybe I'll even be brave, and go swimming in Lake Superior...though that lake ranges from frigid, to freezing, to cold : P Lake Michigan can seem like bathwater, in comparison :p

Arctic Fox Refrigeration was busy, as they spent a lot of time fixing the refrigeration system at Savings Skunk. After that, they got a service call to fix an ice machine at Burger Fox.

*writes a glowing review of Arctic Fox Refrigeration*

Was it really so gold that you had to have a drink for it?! I was just kinda wingin' it, honestly. And... are you so happy that you snapped the pencil tip off? Holy crap! I must've done a really good job :D

*Hands you a stalk of celery and shows you the door without a word, all while chugging on several consecutive boxes of wine*

*Makes fries out of the potato*

Ooh! Is that one for the road! I'm not really too hungry anymore, but I guess I can always stash it in my bunker! Thanks!
If you have any other business opportunities, you know who to contact :D
Also, you better watch how much your drinking! Your whole body will catch on fire! You don't want to be the next @Thrashy, either! Imagine never being able to drink water again :(

I'm going to hit (or maybe nibble) the hay. Good night everyone! Sleep well!

It is! The surface temp usually maxes out at about 60-65f in August. A pretty quick in-out is the norm in that lake!

Pretty much a lake to wade along the shore in the waves; you always want to be where you can get back to shore quickly, given hypothermia is a danger, if you were in deep water for any prolonged period of time. But it is hard to find such a beautifully pure, clear lake, that commands quite as much respect.
