It's February and I've already seen butterflies. I mean they have to be caterpillars first. This is starting to concern me, as there's kinda some mass dying of insects going on in Switzerland since the last 10 years. If suddenly it freezes here, we won't have much insects in summer :/It's also warmed back up to 40f...seems almost spring-like : )
A fart squirrel chasing regular squirrels*prepares to chase away the squirrels*
We should program a bot who posts "@Groggy" here every 30 seconds. On each of our computers xD
Hehehe!Eating a Bison Burger here. I forgot how lean these are...also, has a nice, bold minerally flavor.
Don't tell the predators!
Maybe a VBA script could do that xDI... have no idea how to do that, despite knowing how to program![]()

Well... Including us.as so many other species depend on them.
Well... Including us.
That is true. The World depends on the insects.Well... Including us.
Skunks too of course, but I was referring to us humans this time ^^True! Skunks eat tons of bugs here in Michigan...of which we have a bountiful supply, in the summer.
Exactly. Without bees, farmers can't plant anythingThat is true. The World depends on the insects.

OK you're right thereLack of bees doesn't stop farmers from planting, it just stops plants from being pollinated.![]()
I think fruits are dependent of bees.Even so, don't plants pollinate (albeit very little) via wind? I don't think pollination will completely stop, but the whole process will just get really slowed. I could be wrong, but I think I heard about that in biology class at some point lol
There are other insects besides bees that polinate, but yeah, wind pollination happens. It's one reason you plant at least three rows of corn. Corn pollinates a lot with wind.Even so, don't plants pollinate (albeit very little) via wind? I don't think pollination will completely stop, but the whole process will just get really slowed.
