At this river, there is the "Valle Verzasca" (Italian for Verzasca Wall), a dam in the (Italian speaking) south of Switzerland.

The dam gained fame from James Bond: GoldenEye.
The Bungee Jump scene was getting recorded there

You can still bungee jump there today ^^

I see pictures like this and always wonder "what the heck am I doing here?", and I never have an answer..

I spent two weeks camping here (Crane Prairie Reservoir) after I broke my collar bone in Oregon, before moving to a cozier spot up in the mountains for 4 more weeks.
