Just attempted to make spaghetti carbonara for the first time.
I used:
-Wrong spaghetti
-Wrong ham
-Wrong cheese
-Wrong butter
-Wrong pepper (apparently)
-Wrong quantities (totally fudged the weights)
-Wrong utensils (I don't have fancy tongs in my kitchen, I have spoons )
-Wrong heat
-Wrong timeings
-and I was probably breathing the wrong type of air too.

End result:
Something actually tasty.

Doesn't Carbonara have 5 ingredients?

Also, aren't tongs $4?

I had the correct eggs and one of the cheeses.
(I don't really know what I was doing, I think my cooking method is 'Get drunk, trust to luck! )

And why buy tongs when I have perfectly serviceable spoons?
(Spoons are the ultimate utensil, just ask @Skittles )
