Predators and Prey

@TR273, quick question...when are you planning to visit the US? Just to be sure...
Well I was planning to come over for FAU which is supposed to be some time in October, but the dates haven't been announced yet. Obviously with the current situation I'm adopting a 'Wait and see' approach.

With all due respect, phone guy, you will maintain silence unless you are called to the stand.

Phantom. At exactly 9:37, earwitnesses testify to hearing a gunshot at the fruit stand about a block away from your place of residence. A fox was then found dead at the scene. You claim to have been asleep at the time. I'm sure the court finds this hard to believe. Do you have an alibi? Anyone that can corroborate your claim?

Prosecution: WHAAAAAAT

*Loud juror mutters, multiple judge gavel slams*

Judge: What is the meaning of this? The defendant is incorporeal?

Defense: Precisely! He can't physically influence anything outside of his place of residence!

Judge: Meaning...

Prosecution: Objection! This is preposterous! A projection requires a projector! And a screen!

Defense: Not projections of the spiritual variety. I refer, of course, to Hendrick's guide to spirits and sorcery, volume 2, which I submit as evidence to the court.

*book accepted into court record*

Defense: As it says on page 87, "Ghosts, despite tethering to particular locations of importance or power, can easily manifest themselves visually, though not physically, at other locations by a process known as projection".

Prosecution: Noooo! Impossible!

Defense: I move we throw out this entire case on the basis of the defendant's incapability to fire a gun at such a location.

Judge: Movement passed. I declare the defendant...

NOT
GUILTY

...Excuse my little foray into roleplaying in a server not meant for it, when Florence requested questions Ace Attorney cross examinations came to mind and I was like "perfect opportunity". I've wrapped it up now, we can get back to Pred V Prey things...
