Predators and Prey

I'm hoping to cocoon here for a few days. Not much happening. It's amazing how social interaction is taken for granted.
I'm having a really hard time with this bc I stay in this little open-doors community of folks, and we're constantly back and forth in each other's rigs, talking, even making group meals and little potlucks.. they're not really realing that in to the degree that's being talked about and I kinda feel like a curmudgeon bc I just want to hole up until these tests make it out and there's more info.
I even had a nightmare about going to the grocery store last night
At least Earth is getting a breath.
A breath of diesel exhaust as the forests are mown down for toilet paper!

Ok, I kind of think I know what you said but...

(If you could just give me the translation please :)
Sure :)

It translates to "I could teach you some German".

The "sonst" is like a placeholder, used as an answer since you're classes have been cancelled. "Sonst" means "otherwise". So otherwise than classes, I could teach you some.

Or simpler:
"My classes have been cancelled"
"Oh, I could teach you some German then".

The "sonst" isn't necessary to the meaning, but it sounds nicer as an answer :)

I just want all the prey out there to know to carry your papers to show that you have been tested for the virus. I don't want any predators getting sick.

I've been on and off Duolingo for a while to try learning Swedish. I like how it focuses on the relevant basics.

Gotcha!

Yes I’d like that, I was planning to review my notes from the course, listen to some language CD’s and watch some DVD’s with the German language and subtitles on.
But actually using the language will be a big help
:)

To this day I still don't get why French is being taught as the second language in my university Foreign Languages major, I believe French lost its importance a long time ago. It should be German, because it still has relevance in the international world and its among the most spoken languages of the Internet.
