Watching my DVD set of the BBC show, "To The Manor Born", and it's as fun as I remember. I'm an inordinate fan of Penelope Keith, and she plays an especially well-chosen role here.

(I have a feeling I'll be watching quite a few things, as this pandemic wears on.)

I don’t know what is happening anymore, the school I work at is showing ‘open’ for tomorrow, do I:-
-Sleep in and assume it is an error.
-Go in and look like an arse because it is closed.

Unfortunately government advice is hazy and my boss is a none entity who doesn’t communicate. The official government website says ‘Check with your local council website, and it is saying the school is open, it may get updated in the morning but if the schools are supposed to be closed indefinitely why not just leave the closure note from a few days ago up?
I’m so confused….

What kind of boss is he if he doesn't communicate with his employees? o_O
Also, can't give much advice...not sure how things will play out there. All I can offer is a hug...
*hugs*

If it were me, I'd go in anyway. Better to be safe than sorry! If it is closed, you can always go back home and take a nap :D
Whatever you choose, I know you'll make the right call!

No harm in getting up early. If anything, blame the out of date website.

Now I wonder if there are days when the mouse goes in without his pants on!

But I hope things go well; my thought is that you'll have the day off.

I made some steamed Swiss chard today, the rainbow sort, so as to try and be a bit festive:

I wonder if @Thrashy likes Swiss chard...though, I suppose by default, all chard over there is Swiss, just as all hens in Cornwall are Cornish :p

Gosh, it is slow here!

I guess everyone is out at their local Savings Skunk™ store, stocking up on provisions.

Today was just a busy day for me! My aloe plant (I named him "Alex". Don't judge me!) is currently fighting some kind of infection, so I had to do some plant surgery and amputate the infected leaves. I've been taking care of him for about 21 months, and he's huge!

After I did all that I could for him, I noticed that some of my other plants (I'm currently growing cucumber, carrots, bell peppers, and tomatoes) had a mold problem with their soil. So I had to replace the soil and everything!

On the bright side, my baby carrot (Karen :p) that has been growing for about 7 months (I just can't bring myself to eat her lol) seems close to flowering :D
Needless to say, I'm tired. Competitive Overwatch awaits, though!

Oh, a very busy fellow, there! It'll be time for some gardening here pretty soon; still snow on the ground, but I'm eager to do some planting. And it's always nice to have fresh veggies; especially tomatoes and cucumbers for summer salads. Better tasting, and they save one a ton of money.

You got that right! I have a small planter inside that I start the sprouts in, then I move them outside once the weather stabilizes itself. Nothing better than a salad made from ingredients that you grow yourself :D
