I was raised here, 'til my 17's, then moved to the big city so I could keep studying and get a degree. I've lived there ever since, occasionally paying my parents' a visit - or, more often, they'd do so themselves.That sounds nice! I'm happy that you're getting to see the countryside of life
I take it that you normally live in a city/town, then?
It's a bit cold for crickets right now in the Northern part of the USA, but I've still got the joy of watching the sunset over the fields and the fun of exploring the little patches of forest here and there. I wouldn't give up the country life for anything![]()
It's quite funny how I got used to self-isolation, whereas they love to go out, and now we both have to live together again in this situation. We find ourselves having to adapt to each other's dynamics
It feels very nostalgic as well. During the periods of severe drought, we'd be forced to save water to our fullest; now we have to be careful with food and general supplies
