Uh, oh! The weasel is hittin' the hard stuff!

@Thrashy : Yep, we have taken to using German to refer to that Spotted Skunk!

We are preparing to capture him, and put him high atop das Matterhorn where he will be unable to cause trouble! :p

My mother bought it...thus I can't drink beyond a shot.

Likely story! :p

I think I'm gonna take a long walk in a while, and hike down this swampy area; the snow has pretty much melted, and it'll be good to get some exercise so I don't get too cooped up. Maybe I'll even see a bit of wildlife.

I went over to the Lake House a few days ago to putz around a bit (where I'll be moving in the spring) and geez, still a lot of snow in the woods over there. It'll be a very nice place to stay, but will take some serious shoveling in the winter, to be able to get to, given the steep hills it sits in. (you can't really use a snow-blower in a lot of the spots by it) Also the deer over there are so bold...not at all shy; they just walk around, and pretty much look right at you : ) It might be tricky to do much gardening there, will have to investigate deer resistant plants. (that also love shade, and a fairly acidic soil (oak, maple, pine trees)

Ahh, the deer...
@Tazmo's place has lots of them...he nearly keeps running into them every now and then

Same here! I haven't stayed there overnight, but there also used to be a lot of raccoons that would visit, and skunks in the spring...that'll be fun! I always liked when the raccoons would come up on the porch, and peer into the window of the sliding doors.

Just came into my mind...my mother calls me a porcupine because I'm quick to react to all sorts of interactions. Should that be my fursona instead? Maybe an alt one...

Oh, there's a LOT of those up here! And such curious animals. Actually, it is a great idea for a fursona, and an animal that's not really very well understood. I'd say it's a great and underused fursona, and one I've wanted to see more of. (dogs might be scared of you, though :p)

I'll have to think about it...doesn't fit me that much, personally, now that I've seen one...
(Interestingly, I stumbled upon hedgehogs...they seem to fit me more personality-wise)

Ah, and I think they are related...at least tangentially. Also, I think there are some Asian porcupines, that are sort of in-between the big, US sort, and hedgehogs.

Haha ok :D
At least he has a beautiful view up there (over Switzerland AND Italy, as the Matterhorn is at the border) ^^

It appears so...after all, he is a fox so he automatically qualifies.

Just took a long walk, still a lot of snow/slush in the marshy areas, but it was very pretty, some very clear streams, cedar trees...very pine-scented. Didn't see any skunks, but I'm hoping!
