Nah...I'm just a shopkeeper.
Enjoy the night, @FlannelFox!
Oh, alrighty! I had to make sure so that I could appreciate it. I gotta say, though, a weasel shopkeeper seems about as reliable as a black market in a shady alley or an online deep web shop XD
No offense meant, of course! Please don't call a hitman Please don't call a hitman.

Don't apologize to me.

Sounds like you got yourself a plan there! A good one, a that! Alaska and Canada sound so calm! I'd love to just go out there and go on a hike, surround myself with nature, and hopefully not get mauled by a bear, cougar, or wolves (I don't know if those exist in Canada or not) :D
I'd miss the mild(ish) temperatures and fields of the NE of the USA, though :/

Also, did @Manchesterite make a reference to something that I was too ignorant to get?

Walks are really nice with this whole virus thing going on. Almost everyone is tucked away in their homes and you pretty much have the roads to yourself :D
Go for it! I hope you can snag some Z's tonight!

I've nearly always wanted to travel in some way or another, used to and still kinda do dream of taking off around the globe on my motorcycle and just adventuring like that for a few years. I realized in that five months that I did do, that there was some introvert-stimulation missing and I really wanted a comfy place to live and tinker with stuff like I like to do. So I tried this van thing when I got out to CA, it's been a year now and I really love it. And as much as I love this van, I'm tired of bumping my head and monkeying into my cramped desk space.

I wouldn't stress too much about bears and such. I never saw one the entire while I was out (didn't keep me from losing sleep some nights though :p)
The North East was gorgeous and I really want to spend more time there. All of the Appalachian stretch really, that region feels like home.

And bleh, it's freezing >.<
I'll walk tomorrow. There's a bike path very close to me that leads down to a creek- I'll go there and sit awhile.
There's a surprising amount of people out around here and it kinda irks me..

Don't apologize to me.

Gotcha. I know the type you're talking about.

I was thinking more along the lines of a used city bus. A bit cleaner, sleeker, and a lower floor for more room. I personally think something like an old NovaBus or one of the old NYC GM buses would be pretty neat.

The back porch on that bus is actually pretty cool! If only they'd put as much effort into the paint job XD
I could see doing a city bus like that if I found one for the right price.
I'd break my own rules if I found the right victorian trolley too~

The only thing I'm wondering about is how many city buses end up with good highway gearing. I imagine most of them are optimized for low speed traffic. You also can't get that balcony on a city bus because IIRC they're unibody (or at least some single unit framed body) vs body on frame like those International school buses.

You hear a loud BOOM as the grenade goes off. Your burrow shakes, dust falling from everywhere. After a prolonged silence, you finally venture outside. You see the fist that @Manchesterite was selling sitting in the crater, with the grenade pin leaned up against it.

Neat! Thanks for that! I'll put it on tomorrow when I go out and forage for more things to plant in my garden!

Also, I can imagine that a lifestyle like that (always being on the move and maybe feeling a bit cramped) can take some getting used to. It probably doesn't give you that comfortable feeling of hunkering down somewhere and having that feeling of, "Hey! This is my home now!". It'll probably feel super awesome once you get settled in and all!

The only reason I stress about wild animals like that is because of my one hiking experience when I was 14. I was hiking near Ricketts Glen State Park (look it up if you want, it's a lovely place in PA. Lots of waterfalls and stuff that you don't typically see in this state) with my mom, and we kinda broke off of the trail a little. Not the best idea, I know, but I kinda wanted to explore and see if we could see any waterfalls that were off the trail, and my mom was there with me so I figured, "Eh, what's the worse that could happen?". We went pretty far into the forest, and we were about to turn back because didn't see any waterfalls, and we heard a pretty loud roar. It sounded somewhat far off, but we looked to our left and saw a huge black bear and 3 cubs with it. The cubs scrambled up the trees (A terrifying sight, actually. You know that the mama bear is angry if you see that lol) and the mama bear was up on her hind legs. I've heard nasty things about bears that have their cubs near, so my whole body just kinda froze (looking back on it, I guess it kinda makes sense as to why I picked a guinea pig as a fursona if that's how I react to danger lol). My mom took my arm in her hand and very slowly started to walk back the way we came. It was a spine tingling experience for sure! On that same hike, we encountered a couple of rattlesnakes, as well (we didn't see them, but we heard them loud and clear!). Luckily, we got away from that hike without incident, but it can be pretty dangerous! In hindsight, it was kinda stupid for us to leave the trail, but I was curious and my mom didn't think there would be any animals so close to a trail that is so frequently traveled. Every time we hike now, we don't even think about stepping off the path (no matter how badly I want to sometimes XD) Phew! Story-time is over!
The NE is really pretty though! Lived here my whole life, and I don't think I'm too keen on leaving when I get older!

That sounds relaxing! Why not bundle up and have a picnic down there or something? Since it's cold, you probably won't have to worry about any bugs :D

Welp... so much for foraging! Guess I'll be filling that hole for the majority of tomorrow :(
At least my fist came, though! Woohoo! Bring it on, budgies! Or don't! Your call!

Yeah, but remember he's just $9.95 for 3 months when you use coupon code MISCHIEF!

I was at a friend's cottage a couple of years ago. A friend of his that I didn't know before had his Prius sat on/rubbed/mildly damaged by a passing black bear.

You examine your new fist.

You look up to notice a duck in the distance, watching you. You don't know how long he's been there, but you blink and he's gone.
