You know, I'm just waiting for the 'Anna Summers' parcels to start coming through and me getting stopped by the police to check I am engaging in essential work.
Police : Sir, just checking you are engaging in essential travel.
Me : I'm a delivery driver.
Police : Ah! I see, what are you delivering?
Me : .... Sexy knickers....
Police : And you consider those to be 'Essential'?
Me : ....
Maybe?.....

Morning everyfur, anything I miss? Or just the usual in PvP? :p
Good morning! Yep, just the usual PvP that we all know and love! Definitely wasn't a predator win or anything. No siree :D

Hahaha! That's when you show the officer a picture of a person wearing said "sexy knickers" and let the officer judge for himself/herself XD

Funny, this is how I imagine Orange County and San Diego to be, despite not having been there :p

I did visit LA, and liked it more than I'd expected: it had a certain grittiness, not unlike Detroit with palm trees, and a lot of vintage shops. And some great mid-century architecture. Also, as a fan of Raymond Chandler, it was nice to see all the places where his Phillip Marlowe novels were set.

All in all, I liked it better than San Francisco: I think since Silicon Valley has taken such a firm hold, much of the artsy, hippie-counter-cultural charm has dried up and left.

Other places in CA I've been:

-Ventura (brother lives there) Very nice, fun downtown, good thrift shops.
-Pismo Beach: And here I thought this was just in the Bugs Bunny Cartoons. Cute Surfer Boys in wetsuits galore; stayed an extra day in the area, to enjoy the scenery :p
-San Luis Obispo: Have a friend who lives there, very nice
-Paso Robles area: visited several vineyards, when I had a job as a wine-buyer, in my restaurant days: really, really amazing: rural, ocean close-by...looks like Tuscany.
-Santa Barbara: rity-titzy, but sheesh, talk about verdant flowers and plants. Gardenias growing everywhere. I half expected even money to be growing on trees, but alas, no such luck! (strangely, my brother held his wedding in the Santa Barbara Zoo, overlooking the ocean. A love of zoos must run in the family :p

And such are Simo's ruminations on his travels in The Golden State :)

I was always curious as to how anthro animals in movies found pants and shorts and stuff like that. Do you think there are specific stores that sell clothing for certain species of a certain height? It confused me lol

There must be. Let's face it, if anthros suddenly appeared, every business sector would see them as an untapped market segment. ...Or so my little rat brain says.

Hey, that's not a bad name for an anthro clothing store of the bigger/taller variety :D
Guinea Pigs can really be the height on fashion, it seems!

Aww, thanks! As much as I hate wearing formal clothes, I'd say I look alright when I'm all dressed up XD

Yeah, they'd be like walking money bags to clothing suppliers, huh? I agree with your rat brain :D

You may have had a better tour than I've had in some respects. I haven't been much into the wine scene, but I got lots of oranges up into he hills of Ojai :D
For almost an entire month after I got here, I'd break camp early in the morning (I was still on the motorcycle), and then head down to Surfer's Point in Ventura to watch the sunrise and the surfers who'd jump in before it was light out, while I sat, drank coffee and decided how to go about my day.
