We had lots of thunderstorms here tonight. We were under a tornado watch for a while, which is common here, especially this time of year. Draconis and I went to look at a warehouse that a friend we work with has offered us some space in. In exchange, we are helping him do print finishing. We are laying out where the printing equipment goes. I have a saddle stitcher, a couple of electric commercial paper cutters, a sheet laminator, and a perfect binding machine we will be taking over there. Oh... also a paper jogger.
What has everyone been up to today? Almost everything is shut down here. Restaurants only do take out food. We had a tire replaced on the car yesterday, and the people there would get within ten feet of us, and didn't want to take cash because it might be "infected". How are things where you all are at?
I haven't started the fursuit head yet, but I'm thinking maybe a cougar.

Glad to hear you're operation is off the ground!
I still think theres a surprising amount of people out and about in spite of CA's shelter in place orders. There's talk of the beaches being closed but I'm not sure that's happened.
A friend who lost his landscaping job bc of all this just had to shell out for a new truck due to rotted out freeze plugs. That was after paying for a solar upgrade since he's back in his camper full time...
Hung around for some of that transition today.

I'll post some pics. I'm doing it with the foam bucket head method. I would have done it with a kickboxing headgear, but the stores are all closed, so I can't get one. I'm going to look around to see if I have any lycra type cloth or something to make a balaclava head out of. I figured out how to make a mold for a composite fursuit head blank. Anyone like the idea of a super lightweight composite head that would be almost impossible to break?A cougar would be a neat choice

I just need some steady paying work. Things are kind of dismal right now. I'll probably end up doing a lot of religious paperbacks it looks like.

Finally fixed the no spark issue from last year and this absolute bastard still won't run. At least it stutters now, though, like it's at least trying to get going.
