Now? Really? OK.
It was many years ago. I think it was 2013 or so. I was in the fursuit parade about two thirds of the way back. I was walking along, when my friend Draconis came up to talk to me. He wasn't in suit, but we were walking along and talking. Anyway, we were walking behind two foxes as we turned down a narrow hallway. It must have been like a service hallway or something because it was much narrower than a hallway with rooms. The hallway was pretty long and it smelled... BAD after all of the Fursuiters had been passing through it. My friend, Draconis commented, "This hallway smells like ASS!" I quipped back, "Well, we ARE following two foxes." I said it loud enough for them to hear. They stopped. They turned on me and put their paws on their hips and STARED at us. I apologized and told them it was a joke. They just kept standing there for like two minutes. Finally, they started going again. We had to go to the end of the hall and turn right, go a bit and turn right again. By the time we caught up with the rest of the parade, people were leaving thinking that the parade had ended.
