No, there are elements that have appeared in the story in the picture. This was actually inspired by a thread on the Freefall forum called 'The fans are getting dusty' (or something) and someone was asking why there wasn't any 'Fan service' in the comic. There was a bit of a backlash (a polite one) from long time readers and co creators. Of course one look at the title of the thread and I just couldn't resist the temptation to deliberately misinterpret the request.
(Plus Mark Stanley has a nice easy to copy art style)
