It's not belated. It's today, the 14th. lol ... and thanks.Oh, didn't know it was your b-day. Happy belated Bday, I'd give you a fist bump, but I don't want to accidentally break your knuckles.
I kid, I kid. Do genuinely hope ya had a good time.
We had those at the con, but someone complained about them looking "Naziesque" so they made us pull them. He normally does everything right at the con, but these he liked so much, he had them done by a direct to garment from his original art. I'm sure he still has them. He would cut you a deal on one. lol. He's running a sale right now on shirts. Depending on complexity, an average bust with name is only $38 and includes shipping. That's domestic shipping. I'm not sure what overseas shipping would cost. I asked earlier on this thread, but I got no reply. This was one I liked:

Nice! I'll think about it, but I'll probably provide a domestic addressWe had those at the con, but someone complained about them looking "Naziesque" so they made us pull them. Yeah... My friend Nash lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, which is just south of the South Carolina, North Carolina border. We will be visiting him this year sometime. You aren't that far away.Nice! I'll think about it, but I'll probably provide a domestic address
That looks like one of those cakes that the baker put on there word for word what the customer said. lol. Thanks!
I think shipping depends on the value of the item.We had those at the con, but someone complained about them looking "Naziesque" so they made us pull them. Next time, have them send you the art digitally and have the badge made where you live. I can't imagine that the tax on a shirt would be that much. That sounds like they were robbing you for some reason. Not cool. If you have them send you another badge, have the sender mail a book to you via media mail and have them stick the badge in the book. lolI think shipping depends on the value of the item.
Speaking from the UK point of view I had a con badge shipped from the US (I Think I'd paid $45 for) shipping was $10 (I think) but when it got here it was impounded by the post office for £15 tax (which I'd paid in the US but that didn't matter the the girl behind the desk) and another £15 'handling fee' (which was a bit odd since the postage had been calculated using the UPS website for international packages.)
So it can get quite pricey on the client end of things from the UK point of view.

As they say, "Cut the crap!"I've been told the priority is weight, then size for cost calculation. Not that I know the finer details of how those calculations go, exactly. Value is for customs.
*Cuts you a slice of "Crap."*
Cool, I'll remember that.Next time, have them send you the art digitally and have the badge made where you live. I can't imagine that the tax on a shirt would be that much. If they send you a book, you can tell them it's just a book mark that you left in the book when you "visited" them. I had Sugar Cat do an art piece for me, but she wasn't able to finish the piece at the con, so I told her just send me the digital art and I would print it and laminate it myself, since that's what I do. She sent me the art, but did the badge and carried with her for three years until she caught up with me at another con. I was duly impressed.Cool, I'll remember that.
