Predators and Prey

Self congratulatory title goes here
Have been doing a bit; had a goal of posting a chapter a week of this serialized story to my main FA page, which I finally updated and revamped...after about 3 or 4 years :p

And to try to write a bit outside of that, as well. Do you do any writing? Have always thought you'd be good at it, having seen your prowess for detailed RPing.

Ah, I forgot you have an FA, but now I'm inclined to take a peek!
I do write on occasion, I tend to like to write about fantasy and the like. I have one finished chapter of something I wrote, though it had taken so long and required so much of my focus that I was a bit discouraged about going any further. But I digress, I still write/rp, it's just much rarer!

They both had opposite views of how the outbreak should be handled; Bolso wanted people to get back to work and keep elders isolated, whereas Mandetta focused on total isolation. The two would exchange barbs and tada ;P. The newly nominated minister's approach is still a mystery, but he would once view current measures as positive. According to the news, most people also approve of it.

Aww, I'm sure the komodo effect will soon go away! *hugs @BreyoGP* Needless to say I love my frog self too x3
Ah, I see. Yeah, this whole outbreak is kinda tricky. On one paw, you can't keep people quarantined forever without work or the economy dies. On the other paw, if we don't quarantine, then lots of people (especially the vulnerable types like elders and the really young ones) will get infected.
Huh! I gotta say, the lack of a hallucinogenic trip is also nice :D
*gives you a half-hug in return*

I'd only do that when someone takes my celery or apple cider away XD

Annd I'm off to sleep... not having typed a single word here since I said I was back... sorry about that. I spent the evening RPing :p
Oh well! Let's just falsely claim I was chatting with you all in spirit, or some crap like that :D

Good night, fluffbutts (and scalybutt). Until tomorrow!

Ahhh, I was planning to go to this expo. The cancellation had to be done...the logistics were getting more challenging by the day. My heart was already prepared for this, after a decade of disappointment. I'll have to see what to do next...

That's a shame :/
It's stuff like this that makes me wish all of this outbreak stuff were over already. I don't mind the isolation, but just all of the cancellations of stuff that people were really looking forward to. It sucks.
Did you have any other things that you wanted to go to? Maybe they aren't cancelled yet :D

There's only the trip to North Carolina left...
My mother's concerned about my safety, so she's more on the side of caution...
But I wanted to meet @Tazmo real bad...
Ahh...
I hope you get to meet him! If you do get to go, make sure you bring a spray bottle! You know how he acts XD

I did end up meeting him...and didn't have a spray bottle! :p

Ah, yep, am trying to make good on my resolve to follow though with things; easy to start bigger projects, than it is to finish them. What sort of thing did ya try to write? Now I'm curious! But it does take more time and focus than one might initially think, especially as it goes on.

Dark fantasy, I wanted a character focused story with an anti hero/naturally unheroic character, because I enjoy flawed characters and what makes them that way. Doing that concept well takes a lot of effort and energy, however.

back to Aussie foxying!
That is good to hear. We also have a pair of sugar gliders with a baby, they are so cute and lovely.

daww, they sound super adorable!!:D
So, how do you get them to fly? Sprinkle some sugar on their back and they grow wings?;):p

Good to see you around Simo. It's funny you mention not having much to do. I've had a few video games I still have yet to play, but I've been more drawn to just chatting. Maybe it's the corona blues!
Same here; the Corona blues have me filled with all these various things I might do, and yet, random banter has become the main thing. And nice to see the fox, as well.

Gah, I caught a bit of the Corona blues the other day too. Not having much to do except uni work, I started ruminating way too much, feeling a little down. I've felt much better this week though:)

yeah, it's kinda suprising, I have been spending much more time chatting than drawing or anything XD

This is why I believe in the importance of going outside (obviously, not during the current crisis)...it's healthy for the mind.
I thank the countries that make it a joy to do so, with their libraries and public parks and pedestrian walkways...much better than having to slog through malls, congested roads and in-your-face advertising.

oh yes, I totally agree!
And to ad to that, even in the current crisis, going out in some way, like your yard or balcony, can also be very important.

Of all things, I started to watch Gilmore Girls again, and it made me think that I bet you'd like any number of towns/small cities in Connecticut. Windy country roads, not a lot of congestion, nice parks and town squares, good libraries, and sophisticated and artsy, though in this quaint, largely rural New Englandy way: lots of little antique and used book stores. Big gaudy development is held largely in check, in favor of the historic, and the rest of NE is just a wee bit north; NYC just a stone's throw south or east.

Lots of ruminating here, too! Getting caught up on some PMs and such today; went on a scenic drive around the area while getting a few groceries. But yeah, it can get a bit introspective.

At least that's one thing coming from the lock down, everybody's staying social :p
