Took a little cunning by @Simo to have me take a transformation potion :p

Edit: Also massive hugs :D
Well, you look great! Not as floofy, but still fuzzy, and your tail size has increased :3
*ginormo hugs*
Good morning rat!
Now we have cute and fluffy animals!
*Hugs everyone tightly in a fluffy hug*
*pulls you into the above hug*

Oh my, I'm pretty riled up about something I just saw on the news. The local MP for a suburb of my city is advocating for the removal or even culling of a fruitbat colony there because of 'residents' concerns that they could spread coronavirus'. It's pretty clear though that these people are just using this as an excuse because they hated the bats anyway (one of them said that bats somehow 'don't belong in the suburbs') and the way the MP talked about the bats just showed utter disdain for the animals. "They're not a constituency I'm happy to have in my community" he said.

How could you not love these critters?!:D

That sounds terrible! Sorry to hear that.

If they only knew how important bats are. Bats are really important to the ecosystem!

Aren't they completely harmless? I can't decide if this is better or worse than that lady in Michigan protesting the lockdown because she wants her hair done.

Well I think it's time to remove these useless and consuming pests from our society, Down with the MP's!

It will be! Believe me!

No, they don't, they would probably get sprayed by skunks and leave them forever.

Skunks are still the best!

Mmm, you make an excellent case there!!
Unfortunately I can't spray yet, so you, @Simo, @Thrashy and @HunterSkunk and @Guifrog will have to protect me:p

It's ok man, I'm sure there will be a lot of resistance to it. Yes they sure are, as all the ecologists were pointing out in the news report.

Pretty much. It is true that they are a known carrier of certain diseases, but it's extremely rare you hear of anyone catching something from one. The main reasons people hate them is paranoia over infection and, perhaps more importantly, annoyance from the noise, droppings and smell (on that logic dogs shouldn't be in the suburbs either;))

Ah, I can certainly get behind this!!:D
Hmm, does Mayor Kathleen count?:p

Which came first, the suburbs or the bats? o_O

Well, the bats are native, so maybe, just maybe...they were there first

Ravo?! You are a lemur now lol?

... Oof. I walked into a coronavirus conversation didn't I?

... More oof. That was a hasty assumption. I'm sorry, bats ;)
