Why wait for it to wear out? Just trade it in after 6 months and roll the balance into your next Suburban! And don't worry about the payments. It's cheap if you do it for 96 months.
Better, better, better! Come to my entire virus-free websites here : totallyvirusfree.com, and enter you bank detail above dot line which is honest-true not a fraud disclaimer! :) I give you lifelong new tank!

I have to say that I'm a sucker for the Evoque though. That's one fine car.

...

And it's also in NFSMW2012, which is one of my favorite games, where it's literally invincible

It has the excuse of being a luxury/performance vehicle, though. The Suburban has towing capacity, but that's pretty much it. It's not even that nice to be in.

Nice pick! The Maus would also have been acceptable, out of rodent solidarity. :3
Verrrrrry expensive, though. The government will go bankrupt by giving it to everyone. :D

It might actually be too big for the UK. It's 1.3m longer and 0.2m taller than the Evoque and manages about 40% worse fuel economy.
It's odd but there doesn't seem to be a market in the UK for American cars. Now I don't mean US car makers I mean like the cars you see in the states. There is someone out in the middle of nowhere who has an ex crown Vic cop car, and one of the locals has a Ford Mustang but that's about it.
(Well there are a few Dodge Ram's about but I don't see them on the road much.)

I imagine fuel costs a lot more over there. America's also followed a bigger is better mentality for the longest time, and one reason I've been told is that American cars just don't fit on European streets.

But consider yourselves lucky you never got the Dodge caliber. *Shudders*

I'll admit watching one of those city sized giants trying to navigate the car park at the local stores is quite funny, since they need both bays on each side clear along with the whole row behind them.
(Also people who own one over here insist on getting a personalized number plate with the word 'RAM' in it, like we didn't know what it was:rolleyes:)

Funny story.
About 15 years ago I was driving along the motorway and was overtaking a lorry when a Dodge Ram came right up on my rear and started flashing his lights and gesturing for me to get out of his way. Now this was a duel carriageway so on one side I have a lorry and on the other I have the central reservation so I have nowhere to go, I'm also driving an aging Peugeot 106 which has a quarter of the mass of the Ram and less power (because of the age of the thing). Anyway the fact I can't physically get out of this guy's way doesn't seem to register with him and he starts with the fingers and turning the same red colour as his car and pulled to within a few inches of my rear bumper (also his licence plate was G3 RRR or Grrrr). I actually thought I was going to get rammed (no joke). Anyway at this point my revs suddenly dropped off, there was a worrying clatter from somewhere in the engine and then an almighty Bang from the back. Once my heart had started again I checked the mirror and found I was clear of Dodge Ram, puzzled and worried about the noises my car had been making I pulled in at the next garage to check things. While I was topped off my oil which was on the low side a rather familiar Ram pulled in as well but the whole front was now pitch black. Turns out my car had picked that exact moment for a backfire of biblical proportions, and there had been a lot of crap in the exhaust pipe when it had happened.

That's a hell of a time to let go. I guess your car knew :p And yes, this matches typical Ram drivers. I'm not sure why, but they're particularly worse than your average brodozer drivers.

Fun fact: Dodge marketed the Ram pickup line as its own model up until the mid-2010s. Then they split it off so cars and SUVs were under Dodge, but pickups were now their own brand called RAM. They then rode on the marketing line of "the fastest growing pickup brand in North America," despite the fact that the trucks didn't change, the badging was just different.

Anyway, is bedtime. I'm trying this new thing where I go to sleep before the sun starts coming up.

Do you want to know what would make someone even luckier? Not having Dodge vehicles of any kind. They are junk.

Seriously. The Caliber and Avenger have to be the worst cars ever made, not only because the interiors feel like recycled water bottles, or because they're absolute ass to drive, or because the mechanicals are less durable than soggy toilet paper, but because a company like Dodge really ought to know better than to charge money for that trash. They're an absolute ripoff even when free.

@Spilogale Pygmaea, carry this on. I'm out for reals now.

Dodge (Fiat-Chrysler) has been making junk for years. I distinctly remember those Dodge Neons being junk. For a similar price, one could have bought a Toyota Corolla that would run reliably for many years while having few repair needs.

I am not a big fan of cars produced here in the USA (I think the lack of reliability in many American cars stems from planned obsolescence). And people wonder why Toyota made such huge inroads into the US market.
