Why is it always the fox?

It kind of reminds me of a school project I made years ago.
It was an alphabet machine with windows that displayed the letters in order. The only problem was the letters were on wheels attached to cogs and I forgot about the rotation of the wheels when placing the letters. So wheels 1,3 and 5 went clockwise and 2 and 4 went counterclockwise, so any child using it would learn the new alphabet of:-
A B C D E J I H G F K L M N O T S R Q P U V W X Y Z
*Insert facepalm here*
Still since the mechanism itself actually worked I got a B+ on the project.
