I'm good for now, and far away from the capital, where the eye of the storm is. Thanks for the concern, fren. :3

Northern states of Amazonas and Pará have much more people than beds, so yeah. I'm on the Northeastern side, in Pernambuco; we've been fighting against time to set up new facilities and bring docs before health care collapses, but apparently our state is handling things well in comparison to other regions when it comes to Covid data transparency:

This research considers available and applied tests, level of detail regarding confirmed cases and their location, occupied beds, treatment status, among other stuff. Knowing this gets me less anxious, but there's still too much underreporting on a national level

Sounds familiar. Back at my parents' old house, several birds would use the window frames as tools repeatedly, because they had this cleft they could insert stuff into in order to keep it in place while they pecked at it. Practically every morning it was a new peckin' symphony. I kind of miss that, even though it often woke me up early, back when I was a young rattie :3
