Predators and Prey

Are giant anthro wasps all that bad? Sure, they have a signature method of hurting people, but so do skunks!

Well... Only if you have an IRL phobia of wasps hornets and bees caused by inadvertently straying too close to a wasp nest while rock climbing.

Getting stung by a wasp is bad. Getting bit and stung by a was simultaneously is worse. Getting bit and stung by a wasp simultaneously while dangling from a rope 300 feet in the air is even worse.

But the worst part is getting chased by wasps for the next 24 hours as the pheromones from the sting make every wasp you come across want to kill you.

No worries, I asked Transformer for help:

How could Emyrelda Seoni's hiccups be cured? Well, the magic can't happen at the bookstores. It doesn't work on the web. Nor can it be captured by a simple telephone call. But—perhaps it's a little less than obvious—it could be done in a courtroom.

In order to resolve this critical common problem, I'm working on the case of Emyrelda Seoni, the 12-year-old Romanian who has been on trial in Toronto for having a hiccup-causing pencil. The little girl, who has endured more than 50 hours of closed-captioning-only hearings, has suffered more than a dozen hiccups in an effort to get her pencil

There you go. It was the pencil. The pencil did it.
