Well, here's Transformer:

Meta the rat yawned cutely, stretching his little frontlegs. It was another furry morning, and the rats had evidently found the light switch. After dicking around at home for a little bit, I went off to work and saw why they were so easy to move around. The afternoon sun had made it cool again, and it was easy for the dusty rats to slip out the window in the morning. In the office we had a lot of rats. I used to use them to produce ashes for candles, but that didn't seem worth it anymore. I thought about using them as toilet paper holders, but then remembered that this would be all well and good.

Look, the beginning is in third person, and then it shifts to first person in the fourth sentence. The narrating protagonist was just describing the cute actions of cute me in the beginning :D

Or maybe you occasionally talk about yourself in the third person. Also, you are established, but this mysterious "I" is not.

Also also, "Meta" = "I"
