I agree, it’s good to use examples that are harder to misinterpret. But I don’t think that we should take our audience into account when seeking objective truths. What the audience thinks is completely irrelevant to what the objective truth is, so it doesn’t make sense to not say things because someone will misinterpret it.

Handling philosophy the safest way is to handle the topics that all members (participants and viewers) should be kept away from conflicting on the subject with all their potential morals and beliefs, etc.
So... talking about future of the humanity may be rather safe compared to using example of the past characters chained to unpleasant stuff, which in contrast, can be very dangerous.

I don’t personally like the politics section, as it devolves to ad hominem attacks incredibly quickly. Not to mention this is technically more religion than politics. Alas, I can see why it should be put there. @ssaannttoo, perhaps we should take this to DMs.

I get what you say and I agree.
But where we're at is a community with various people worldwide, and we don't wanna get blocked and/or witchhunted by potential audiences(which are also likely be the members of the community) by offending their morals, beliefs, etc.
Unless chatting this is worth the ban and other consequences...

I’ll stick to the truth, no matter what consequences befall me. “Here I stand, I can do no other”. I refuse to edit my beliefs for fear of consequences.
Of course, if I can say my beliefs completely honestly and openly in a way that doesn’t annoy other people, that’s usually better!
