*repeats the answer from before*Okay! OwO! Why?
What’s the meaning of life, the universe, and OwO?
I thought that the last book of the The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy series was kind of a disappointment... You know, the one where he finally dies, and there’s the words of god. I much preferred the ones before them, and I kind of regret reading the last one.*repeats the answer from before*

Ah, you mean the death of Marvin the Paranoid Android? Or the death of Arthur Dent?I thought that the last book of the The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy series was kind of a disappointment... Yeah, the fifth book, “Mostly Harmless”, because I thought that the fourth book, “So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish” satisfactorily concluded it. (Is this a common opinion?) I didn’t know about the 6th book until now, so thank you! I will definitely try to read that one!Ah, you mean the death of Marvin the Paranoid Android? Or the death of Arthur Dent?
If you meant the book "Mostly Harmless," you're not alone. In fact, another new book was written to try to tie up loose ends. That one wasn't done by Douglas Adams, though, so the atmosphere can be somewhat different from the original series.
From Douglas Adams himself. "People have said, quite rightly, that Mostly Harmless is a very bleak book. And it was a bleak book. I would love to finish Hitchhiker on a slightly more upbeat note, so five seems to be a wrong kind of number; six is a better kind of number."(Is this a common opinion?)
*Waits for the next stand-up comedian* : P"Look at me! Look at me! I'm about to do something really ratty!"
I didn't find it to be too bleak at all. To me the book felt like a fitting conclusion to the blackly humorous series. *rat-shrug*From Douglas Adams himself.
