I thought that the last book of the The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy series was kind of a disappointment... You know, the one where he finally dies, and there’s the words of god. I much preferred the ones before them, and I kind of regret reading the last one.

Ah, you mean the death of Marvin the Paranoid Android? Or the death of Arthur Dent?
If you meant the book "Mostly Harmless," you're not alone. In fact, another new book was written to try to tie up loose ends. That one wasn't done by Douglas Adams, though, so the atmosphere can be somewhat different from the original series.

Yeah, the fifth book, “Mostly Harmless”, because I thought that the fourth book, “So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish” satisfactorily concluded it. (Is this a common opinion?) I didn’t know about the 6th book until now, so thank you! I will definitely try to read that one!

Well, good [insert applicable time here] to you! Before I log off for the night, I would like to leave you with a music recommendation! Anything by this user on YouTube is pretty good, and the neat thing is that the sound makes the video, and vice versa. www.youtube.com: Chris Allen
I hope you enjoy having my odd taste in music shoved at you!

Really ratty rat
Morning, fellow fluffbutts!
*butt fluffs idly*

Transformer! Activate and give us a tale of interest!:
Meta the rat scurried in and squeaked "Look at me! Look at me! I'm about to do something really ratty!". All the animals turned to stare at him, and in an instant he was a blur with one of the smaller animals in his paws. He was grinning with glee and had the other animal on the ground screaming. He jumped up and gave the other animal a big hug before he took off again. He looked at the other animals and grinned. "I can't wait to show you some more!". He ran across the ground to the second animal that was already in his lap and stuck his tongue out and gave the animal a big lick. "I'm a rat, you're a mouse, now we're going to have some fun! I'm going to lick every single one of you!" The other animals all went crazy and began to chase him around and he was laughing as he ran away from the others. He was smiling as he ran and ran.

Aaawww :3
*licks every single one of you*
(I guess the mouse was @TR273 and the first animal was @BreyoGP based on their reaction, haha :D )

From Douglas Adams himself. "People have said, quite rightly, that Mostly Harmless is a very bleak book. And it was a bleak book. I would love to finish Hitchhiker on a slightly more upbeat note, so five seems to be a wrong kind of number; six is a better kind of number."
I didn't find it to be too bleak at all. To me the book felt like a fitting conclusion to the blackly humorous series. *rat-shrug*
*Waits for the next stand-up comedian* : P
*the next comedian turns out to be me, Meta the rat*
*you notice a sign that says "All-Meta Variety Hour", but the word "Hour" has been crossed out and "Day" has been scrawled next to it* :p
