To answer that one, the longest round was back in the double digits (yes my tally of the history of the thread is going slowly) there was a few rounds that lasted up to a week (at a much slower posting speed)

Everyone said that the round I started when I first joined was the longest they remember, but I don't know if that is accurate or not... the search function could probably find it. It sure was long, at any rate! Great introduction to the thread, really.

...I kinda miss how hectic everything was around the forums in March. The place was really active back then! :3

Haha, that's true. The corona definitely had an effect, but it still is weird how concentrated it was to that time. I mean, the corona didn't go anywhere since, haha :3

There are a lot of people who are getting more confidant going outside and some people are returning to their jobs.

They still don’t let you load pages in favorites, so your are stuck with the endless scrolling crap they pushed out, honestly i think they were trying to deter certain people with this switch

The thing I hated about Eclipse the most is how it did not have paged browsing when looking through a gallery. So if you were looking at a gallery that had thousands of submissions, hopefully you have a half-hour to scroll, and have a computer that isn't low on memory...

Noice! I ran as well. Funny story on the treadmill, I tried to pull out my phone to contact someone about something, and I dropped it. It flew behind me and sat on the floor for the next 15 minutes. I kept nervously glancing at it as I ran, hoping nobody would steal it. I’d say I’m doing well, finally getting some sketching in after a week of hiatus.

They are trying to deter people i think

People with fetishy stuff and furries on DA tended to
Have large galleries and collections, and now they made it almost impossible to use them(can’t spell the words i want)

so this is their way of “cleaning up” their site, purging old users


... although i should not keep taking about DA it honestly makes me aggressively angry

Unfurred, unprotected skin is very sensitive. Twouldn’t be fair to abuse my human disadvantage, which I compensate for with clothing.
And indeed, I believe the reaction “stop, drop, and roll” would be applied were I to suddenly experience any extremely unpleasant stimuli, so in the interest of your safety, don’t.

I think it goes even further than that. They want to gradually turn the site into a new-digg-esque site where "influencers" hold sway, in the hopes of later monetizing support services, instead of people using it as an art repository which is costlier to maintain and poses less opportunities for them to sell services.

But you're right, let's not talk about dA, uurgh. :/
