That’s a mood. The key (at least, for me) is to commit to a particular program and stick to it, following through. Not unlike working out, if you can’t get past that initial hump where your performance isn’t to your liking, you’ll never improve.I really wanna do my own art, but I just don't feel like any of it is good.
I myself utilized “The Art and Science of Drawing” on Skillshare and the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”, both of which featured extensive activities and homework that I committed to doing. By the end, I was significantly better. By no means do I think my art is top notch, but I’ve stopped hating it at this point.
Took like 14 months though lol
