What’s with these further claims of a rat-fox mischief plot in the Skunk Hollow Gazette? They now claim there are sightings of orange rats with black paws stemming from vulpine strategists using rat transformation potions. The same potion that is supposed to have the ability to turn into a fox? The same thing used by the Skunk Hollow Rats to change into foxes in the past? Is this something that could even be possible without an active Skunk Hollow Rats plot? No. This is purely a "I just saw some rats in the bushes near my house and they looked like foxes" type of scenario. I'm not a fan of the whole foxes are cute thing because of their supposed rat-like nature, but the Skunk Hollow Rats are certainly not some kind of "fox-sniffing rodents". The only thing I find so offensive about the whole scenario is that they seem to be implying that a rat-like creature is responsible for the black paw marks.
