that varries, some fit in the ears, some cover the whole ear(those are rare and are more for airplanes) , some also just sit in the ear skin and send noise out towards the center of the ear.

... i have little use for them with fin ears, i just put the thing near the fin or on skin

at the moment its "dawn of man", one of the many steam games i got with a gift card last year, but never played untill now, its set in the time period of the first age of empires, but is more about your own town and has little combat in it, other then people that try and attack you.
although buildings need repair and food can spoil unlike in aoe
