That was supposed to be only for skunks, silly.

*Takes a pill and starts spraying watermelons at a nearby store, making them smeller fresher and better*

That was my midnight hot chocolate.

How do you think we skunks always look good despite time.
Your profile pic is adorable, btw. I love the friendly cactus in the background, keeping you company.

I have an odd love of cacti and succulents, that dates back to maybe age 7, when my family took a trip out west. Almost all of my houseplants have been cacti, and about the only thing I have ever drawn/done art of, are these kinda 'childlike' landscapes of cacti, with colored pencils. I will have to find one I can scan, and post it. I almost forgot that I have actually tried to draw! (both back then, and even more recently)

Cacti are booootiful. So misunderstood for their defensive modifications. They really are pleasant to look at.

You like cacti too? :D
They're my favorite houseplant. I don't even know why I like them so much, I just do. My favs are the barrel-shaped ones. They're just fun to look at :3

I had a cactus not too long ago. I loved his bi weekly watering, and seeing him bathe in the warm sunlight. It was just a Lowes' cactus, but still, very special to me. He grew quite large for such a small little thing, so I had to get him a bigger container.

That's the one part about cacti that is not so pleasant, moving them into a bigger container :p
The last time I tried moving one it went a bit poorly. :I
There is so much shared love for cacti in here. The cactus in the background is supposed to give fruit, which is what we call "pitaya" in Mexico.
*eats the fruit*

I used to have a cactus. Called it Bob. Unfortunately Bob got harassed by my cats too much and ended up having to take a permanent vacation.

Latin American countries do have a lot of beautiful wild fauna, and some cactuses bare with them edible fruits or pretty flowers.
That is true, the wild fauna is quite exotic, I have to say. And another interesting thing is that those flowers and fruits are also pollinated and eaten by yet another misunderstood creature, bats.

Meanwhile, in another part of the world, cacti harasses you.

And by the way, I would like to see your drawings one day, @Simo.
