No, no, love is not a person. Love is an action. Love is something we do. When we make cake for people, when we bathe them for their own sake, when we indulge their somewhat-off putting desires. Love is laying down your life for others. And let me tell you, if someone walked in this room right now with murderous intent against you, I’d fight to the death to protect you. There is no greater love than that.
