My dear Ssaannttoo, I myself often fight for the predators. We Knights do not engage in tribal affiliations, but instead always fight for the weak, innocent, and defenseless. Usually that is the prey, but occasionally the predators find themselves overrun.

I only do that because dragons are technically predators and not prey! I'm not a predator but I'm a dragon and there's not much that could make dragons into prey. *Noms more poisonous berries*

Now, if I myself was merely prey or predator, I would fight for my side, as to do otherwise would be treachery. Luckily, I’m an omnivore, and as such have license to fight for whomever I choose. You have that same liberty.

To be technically correct, you just ate berries, That makes you at least an omnivore, and thus, someone allowed to fight for the prey.
