Not really sure what i see, i read your sentence first, so that makes your point stand out, but i think i would see the center part as some thing, and the top part looks more like a face to me

Maybe with the whole thing being some character smiling

on a computer its much easier to make a character face with the top and convince myself that would be what i found first
