Predators and Prey

Ah, of course! I did eventually pass out after watching some Game Theory after finishing, so even if I wanted to sleep, I doubt it possible.

So, the school I go to is Highland High School, where I'm learning there in order to pursue my career as a writer, or novelist, to be more....by the book.

The pun was heavily intended.

Also, I'm going to be a traveler, writing about my many adventures across the world.

Seems that's my passion in my life, and my goals I long to pursue.

Plus side of it all? If I actually graduate with honors, I'll be milking my mother's wallet dry.

A nice form of payback for all the smack talk.

True justice done right.
Sounds like a great school, and a good way to get an early start on things! Also, nice to see another writer. (I majored in English in college, and it's so rare to see liberal arts sorts/those pursuing writing, in the furry fandom...I can count the ones I've met on one paw :p)

Will the adventures you write about while traversing the globe be real or imagined...or a bit of both?

Ah, indeed! Meeting fellow writers is most joyous! Lets me know there are more folks out there deeply devoted to the passion of writing.

And as for the concept, it will be a bit of both in all honesty. I'll be making stories that correlate to reality, and some that take a dip in the playful world of non reality as well

Indeed, I would have been most elated if I were near ya! We'd chat about honor and career goals all day!

And in a sense, yes. That's the intended goal, but stories will be a focus at some point.

And as for the distant lands, along with getting money, my mother also said she'd give a passport, so I'll be traveling as far as the likes of Japan, China, maybe some other far places that I normally don't go to. I'd take a camera with me of course, but the larger ones for quality pictures. Also, I planned to get a katana from Japan, as some would consider, the weeb's dream. But I do it not for the weebs, I do it to pay homage to the late and great honorable Bushido of Feudal Japan.

Much like you and your knightly honor, I have a similar concept, and I abide heavily to the Samurai Code of Honor, and getting a real live katana is one of the many ways I honor the olden masters of honor. Them, and the Spartans knew the true meaning of combat.

And yep, nothing spells happy family like wanting to rub the grades in their face. That'll bring immense joy.
RIP.

Noice. Let us know when you make stuff!

Hmm. Are katanas expensive?

Happy to see a fellow person interested in living the good life! Have you looked into the philosophical implications of the Samurai Code of Honor? Could you perhaps explain them to ignorant me?

But it actually totally does because your parents (if they’re doing their job right) want your success, so when you show them evidence of it they should be thrilled.

Yeah, but hey, one day, we'll meet, I assure you of that!

And of course! You'll be my first folks I tell!

And lemme see.....well, from what I know, katanas go for about the base prices of $300 to about $500 dollars. But if you want the cold steel, battle-ready, hammer forged, pristine katanas, those go for thousands of dollars.

And yes! The good life of honor is great! As for the Code of Honor, it was the set of guidelines and rules that Bushido often followed as to maintain the peace and balance in their civilization.

And indeed. One out of two of the parents are doing their job right, and I'll be looking forward to the day where they both see what'll become of this career, a path carved in truth!

Here’s hoping. Let me know if you’re ever around the Cincinnati Ohio area!

*thumbs up*

Impressive. I assume they’re in short supply (due to low demand), leading to the scarcity and price. Also they take an increasingly rare expertise (I assume).

*thumbs up*

Ahhhh, truth. My highest ideal.

Indeed, I'll keep ya posted, if they ever lift these travel restrictions that is.

*Thumbs up and a meow back*

Indeed they are! Quality craftsmanship is exquisite in it's pure raw skill, and I enjoy just looking at it! To own one of these mementos of the honorable warriors is truly a privilege!

And yes, truth is indeed the key of it all. That's how a warrior stays true, how the honorable stay honorable. It's pure, like fresh water from the mountain.

That's the concept of honor. Whole truth, no folly. Discipline and integrity. Those are the makings of a true warrior.

This is one of the multiple reasons I’ve taken a leaf from Mad Eye Moody’s book and only drink from my personal flask.
