...also I didn’t mean to and regret it.
But mostly the former.

Sally gently clears her throat.
"He is a knight, hot headed and bound to an outdated view of honour. I have observed his behaviour to both myself and to others. Despite his constant belief that I am beyond redemption I have observed that he can in some (small) ways change. If he lives he will carry these memories forever, perhaps they will finally teach him some long overdue humility and he may finally become a force for true good, rather than a sword welding halfwit, intent only in avenging the latest slight to his honour."

"I don't recall any surrender!" Her voice booms down the hole Ari has dug himself into. "He fell down and pulled himself back up when you called the match early! His honor is now your great shame! Perhaps if you begged his forgiveness, he would have returned to you!"

I won that fight after his DISHONORABLE SCUMBAG MOVE! He ABSOLUTELY would’ve murdered me, he made that clear from the outset! I offered him the second chance by not killing him! Or at least, I tried...
