Predators and Prey

Foxy Emy

Polygenic DID System. Life is wild.
I’m just trying to get away from everyone and process what happened!

Then I shall appeal to other divinity. I. Am. Innocent. And any true god will recognize that.

"If you can find a diety willing to betray the trust of the the goddess of creation and lose access to that power... be my guest." The goddess vanishes, leaving Ari alone with just his thoughts and the ever so sarcastic Sally.

We weren’t friendly! He was trying to kill me! It was a duel! Would you fault Obi-Wan for fighting Aniken?

he did not end that fight well

“Goddess of creation”, yeah right. If there are pantheons of gods, they will ultimately end up disagreeing with each other.

*Thinks back to COD*

I promise you, this was never an intended event.

Correct. He should’ve killed Aniken
But then who would have killed Palpatine and helped destroy the second Death Star?
The galaxy would have been in a 'HOLE' heap of trouble then.
*Sniggers more*

Would they have finshed the first one without him?

but much of them are petty morals(thinking back to long ago as i made my character)
No actual morality is petty.

Palpatine wouldn’t have had his figurehead and would’ve been present on the first Death Star in his stead.

(Even back when people said it was wrong to research stem cells?)

(People saying petty things in the name of morality isn’t morality.)
(I point this out because it was part of what i used to build my character at first)

Except neither Palpatine nor Vader were supposed to be on the Death Star in the first place. Vader was only there because his star destroyer was the one tasked with catching the rebels who had stolen the plans. And since the rebels weren't jedi any reasonable competent imperial captain and their crew could have caught the Sitting duck Blockade Runner.

I’d argue the butterfly effect dictates that we can’t actually know what would’ve gone down if Obi-Wan slew Aniken. All I know is that he left Aniken in misery, in massive pain, and alive, after all his crimes and history. He didn’t have the strength to do what needed to be done.

He was unarmed (literally) at that point, according to the Jedi code they can't strike down an unarmed opponent.
(Which is why Obi Wan is the best Jedi.)

I didn’t know that. I assumed he was too weak to strike down his brother whom he loved, even if it was in Aniken’s best interests.
(And I agree, Obi Wan is the best. Even if I’m right about this)

(Obi-Wan was an ass. He could have been so much of a better fighter, but he let his emotions get ahead of him.)
