Um... Well, I have a fungus I traded for awhile back that is said to induce a state where you can commune with the gods. Obtained PERFECTLY LEGALLY MIND YOU.
If you're worried about status effects though, I must warn you, this fungi will almost nearly incapacitate you for 3 hours and you will be blathering nonsense to those around you.

I learned this from a cleric practitioner of the "old magics." you must take something that is incredibly important to you; something you can hardly live without and destroy it on an altar to the gods in their temple.
This is supposed to gain the gods favor, might you hear their voices.
If it is worth the sacrifice to you, I might consider it.
