Yep, I wouldn't know the "furry" term at the time. But peeps creating Sonic characters/recolors and using them as their identities was a thing on the Sonic communities I'd frequent. Guifrog wasn't based on any character in particular though, I just wanted an anthro frog to be part of that world. And then I'd find out about something wayway more comprehensive in terms of animal characters, and I stick with it to this day
