There is a key word there 'involuntary'. Liina has a lot of free will, at the worst case she is being friendly because it will really torque off her overlord. Sorry the rest of us can't be boring good and great all the time, but we don't have an ivory tower shoved up our bottoms.

I've been trying to get through that knight brainwashing for months. No matter what I do, no matter how many times I try to offer advice an some such, it's thrown back in my face. He won't attack me any more but I'm still treated with vast suspicion. Daft thing is he can't even tell me what I've done, it just seems to stem from being a pirate/witch.
One time I enquired after his health, the last time I had seen him he had been badly injured, my inquiry was met with rudeness and sarcasm, so I turned him into a grandfather clock he turns himself back and then goes on and on about how 'I attacked him!' ignoring it was his own rudeness that started it, apparently that was fine because I am a witch/pirate/hedonistic heretic...
