hmmm. historically the perpetrator tends to be the one closest to the crime scene and investigation. This seems counter-productive on the surface but the motive for a suspect staying so close to their own case is often to gain insight on how close the investigation is to closing in on them. (And possibly derail the investigation when they can)

Mmm yes...
Think about it.
They moved the body, they could have simply told everyone where I was.
The healed me, thus closing up the wound in my back before it could be examined.
Was the only one to see the 'Spy'.
Is quick to deny they were the killer, even if no-one accuses them.
Has stabbed me before
Had a knife
Has tried to seize my ship before....

Still we mustn't prejudge....
