(Basic Training at the Air Force Academy is 6 weeks, and I’d have absolutely no internet access at that time (I’m lucky to get a phone call to parents xD); then I have very little freedom and time for my first year up through Recognition (in March). After that, sheer academics will pound my schedule for the next 2 years. I hear Senior year gives you a fair bit of free time, but that’s 3 years from now... and after that I’m an officer in the Air Force so you know, work could always get crazy on a dime.)

Oh no, that was specifically guns. A laser sword would be much better than a steel sword (if you were able to avoid decapitating yourself), despite laser swords being more modern.
