that was not my current laptop, but it could only run on battery power, it had a mass array of problems when pluged in... and those caused a driver update to fail(or something aroind those lines)... and true death... mostly i don't know why i kept that one, it was clear its frame had been bent and its hardwere was damaged
current one cannot restart, and yes i have tried reinstalling the os
new "current one" is 5 years old and its 12 inch screen is to small for me to use for any extended period of time, but has always been my backuo

Once we had Flash, now IE's next... I can recall when it was the go-to browser for everything. I'd edit my site on Frontpage, and see the results there
Then I started using Mozilla more often, as per my sister's recommendation for safety.
And then I migrated to Chrome exclusively
