I used to watch it dubbed in Brazilian Portuguese on broadcast TV. They'd air it for a while here during the 90s
The environmental cause was a big trend at the time as they'd hold the Rio Summit in 1992, so that might have played a role in Brazilian media for years, including the exhibition of that cartoon. It's American btw
