What makes one too young to make a fursuit, the body build? Or materials like I dunno, hot glue?

more like growing up
if you make a fursuit being young it will become smaller for you very soon

except for the head that proportionally finishes it's developing growing at 10. caps that you weared at 10? you can use them as adult still!
Humans finish their developing growing until 25 (technically like 20-22 without counting the eyes) but this depend from person to person really. some end up earlier and others later.

I made a balaclava off a T-shirt, styrofoam for round fingertips, the foam to sculpt the head and deep blue spandex fabric for skin, sewed by hand
I guess what really makes it expensive is the fur, which I didn't really use for this, and my suit is partial - not full:

In a nutshell, an artist creates a 'blank' character, it's just the design. then they sell said character. At that point the buyer has full right to use the character as they see fit, to name, to give a backstory to, etc....

I feel like it's a bit rough in places, but for a first attempt it served its purpose as I wanted to check the experience of a con froggily!

That one was Brasil FurFest in 2019

i wish i could go to MFF, but its far away from my location (keep in mind im not an adult y e t pls no booli) and i just couldnt enjoy it to the fullest, since i would have to go with another person (that isnt my friend since i dont know any furs above 17 personally)

Have you known of fur meets that were held closer to your area? As in, more casual gatherings with not many restrictions
Maybe not at the moment with the pandemics, but they could work as a warm-up. Also I haven't tried it yet but it looks like VRChat is a thing too
