Maybe one thing that makes Trigger appealing to me is the unique characters, and how deep the game dives into them. Each one has a song theme, a fleshed out backstory, a personality, a way of talking, their own dreams and goals - which somehow get intertwined in the journey against a common nemesis. This added empathy I develop towards them somehow turn the journey into a much more interesting experience
Classic masterpiece of a jrpg
I've tried to engage in Chrono Cross once, but it didn't seduce me as expectedThe sequel chronocross is also super interesting to me
