Personally, I join for the fun and the community. Meeting new people is always a big plus. I'm game with any topic though - most of the servers I'm in revolve around art, history, gaming, world-building/showcasing OCs and music. Memes, cursed posting, roasting each other, drunk poetry are all equally fun!

Just my two and a half quarters lol

I offer pretty much most of that, but I also run an MC server alongside of it, so it's kinda ???
Well, dead first off.
I tried to make my server really public but I barely get the joins. ;- ; Makes me feel like I have no friendos, considering there's only 3-4 active talkers.

It sounds good in theory but when you get abusive mods and the like it’s just not worth the hassle imo

Sorry to hear that. I can join if you want to but I can't guarrantee that I'll very active - my public Discord is in 90+ servers lol

And that's also why I heavily vet my staff before allowing them to join the support team. Have to have a certain tenure on the Discord, even on the MC server as well, and have to be 16+, because I do require verifications for 18+ roles regardless anyway. Most of my staff are friends of mine, or people that are interested in roleplaying.
