And I didn't know there was a Mexican state called "Jalisco", this is the first thing that came to mind after reading itGlad you liked it! :3
And yes, the flag has a toad in it!
The flag of the frogs!!!
Yeah, it's one of the biggest and probably the most well known state of Mexico, where popular mexican things like tequila are from! And I didn't know there was a Mexican state called "Jalisco"
I get the impression that Mexico is pretty much a megadiverse country like Brazil in culture, people and ecosystems!Yeah, it's one of the biggest and probably the most well known state of Mexico, where popular mexican things like tequila are from!
The name Jalisco comes from the Náhuatl "Xalisco", which is composed of "xalli" sand, and "ixco" surface or face, meaning something like "over a sandy surface", which makes sense considering most of the terrain and climate of the state.

Yes, that is very true!I get the impression that Mexico is pretty much a megadiverse country like Brazil in culture, people and ecosystems!
Awww hopefully so! <3Yes, that is very true!
You would be surprised of how many ecosystems and cultures I've seen during my travels through Mexico, and all of them within a short distance from one another!
And once I finish going to all the places of Mexico, I would love to visit and explore Brazil too!

Would be fun indeed!Awww hopefully so! <3
You're quite a traveller aren't ya, have you ever been to other countries?! Or, is there any place in Mexico you're particularly fond of?
Ooh, I see. More like the consequence of circumstances thenWould be fun indeed!
And no, I'm not that much of a traveller, although I want to be someday, haha! Everything I've mentioned comes from what I've been able to catch up from going to one place to another in my country, a little bit of research, and the personal experiences I obtained thanks to all that.
The place I'm most particularly fond of besides my home state is the state of Puebla, because there's just so much going on in there, it's so rich in culture, history and nature, that there isn't exactly a established place to begin with, since you could start from anywhere and keep going from there!

That's very varied for a single state indeed, whoa! Subtropical forests AND arid ecosystems?!arid ecosystems, subtropical forests, Beach
Yes, exactly!Ooh, I see. More like the consequence of circumstances then
If you may satisfy my curiosity: Is "Puebla" meant to be the feminine of "pueblo"? lol
Wow... so now you have a whole state depicted by the angels. No wonder, Mexicans are divine~Yes, exactly!
Ah, the word Puebla as in the state's name is apparently a word from ancient castilian, meaning "people or a group of peoples", and was used at first to denominate the city of that territory as "Puebla de los Ángeles", since legend has it that the city was drawn by the angels themselves, and later used to denominate the entire state.

Haha saaaaame here! I live in a dry region near to an arid region before entering coast and it has been rainiiing like if tláloc was making rain lolAlthough... Pernambuco (my state) has semi-arid, forest and beach areas too. Funny that my current place was considered to be in a really dry region, but it's been raining like there's no tomorrow since April and I'm totally puzzled, things have been wawaweirdo
