well pretty much anything i can! im creating sound tracks for FNF, and i wanted to compose something a bit like this. in the mod, kiba's voice is more of a low, husky, growl like zardy's voice in this video. and AGOTI is what sounds like the SEGA genesis. tell me what you think! and in other words, zardy is the scarecrow and agoti is the screen demon that kind looks like a dollar store venom.
Ah, I'm completely clueless when it comes to FNF, never even played it. I can see what you mean by "voices" though. That basic drum loop kinda gives a hip-hop feel to it
When I'm composing I like to imagine stories and their development through notes and instrumental choices. Composition is a gigantic subject, but if I were to give a basic tip, I guess that would be to always keep an eye on the dynamics.
For example: drum pattern changes and/or breaks are welcome once in a while. Give space for each instrument; some tend to occupy high frequencies, others the lows, others the mids; so when you're writing melodies, make sure they don't fight against each other. Explore the different octaves, using lows and highs as a way to transmit emotion through your "voices" (i.e. when we speak, we're always emitting notes, sometimes higher or lower depending on our mood or what we're trying to express. I'd pay attention to how my voice pitch changes when I'm angry, sad, asking questions, explaining stuff etc.).
Yeah, I dunno. I've learned most of it by remixing songs and receiving tons of criticism for a year or two from game remixers lol
